Train as an Apprentice
The Postgraduate Teaching Apprenticeship for candidates is a practical, cost-effective way for candidates to become qualified teachers while gaining hands-on classroom experience.
This salaried, school-based route allows you to work in a school while you train. You’ll earn a salary, complete your training alongside your teaching responsibilities, and achieve QTS, giving you a recognised qualification and a strong foundation for your career.
Why Choose the Teaching Apprenticeship for Candidates Route
The apprenticeship route lets you train to teach while you work, combining paid employment with professional training leading to QTS. It’s a fantastic opportunity to earn, gain classroom experience, and contribute from day one.
Who Can Apply
If you’re already employed in a school, we can help you and your employer explore this option.
